I think it would be helpful to have some kind of date-stamp for when a particular version was released. The could be part of the "Change Log".

In the Change Log, some items are pretty obvious, but others are obscure. Perhaps there could be a reference/link to a Feature Request or Bug Report or some kind of discussion on what the impact of the change has.

For example,
* Support for user-defined cameras via registry/defaults section ... the provided link is helpful
* Other changes are less clear, such as whether documentation is now somewhat obsolete, of if some new behavior is available
